4. Start will be ‘Take your marks, Go’ with a whistle
5. A false start will be indicated by a second whistle and the race will be restarted
6. At the end of the race, you will be given a results card with your position on it. You will need to take this to the results table and give you name
7. Relays - all teams consist of 4 swimmers. At the shallow end you must start in the water with 1 foot touching the wall/bottom step. DO NOT GO UNTIL THE INCOMING SWIMMER HAS TOUCHED THE WALL OR STEP OR YOU WIL GET YOUR TEAM DISQUALIFIED
8. The boat race will start at the deep end and you will need to paddle to the shallow end, pick up the other team member and paddle back to the deep end. The finish will be both team members and the boat out of the water
9. The ball race will be swimming with a ball, either in your hand or in front of you
10. The float race will include swimming with an object on the float, which will need to remain on the float for the entirety of the race.
Spectators will be asked to stay away from the poolside on the benches side of the pool. Judges decisions are final.
There will be a prize giving at 6pm for all participants.
